Important Information

The cost of the expedition includes photo shoots, talks, photography reviews, editing and multimedia guidance, transfer services from airport-hotel-airport, hotel accommodation with breakfast, dinners where indicated, Moroccan luxury camping setups and local guides (subject to locations). It does not include meals other than welcome dinner and departure dinners, any expenses of personal nature, laundry, or any beverages. It is recommended that Expedition members bring their own sleeping bags for the camping segments of expeditions, other than the Fez Photography Workshop, or we can arrange sleeping bag hire in Marrakech.

International Flights and Internal travel:
The cost of international flights  to and from Morocco and internal travel to Marrakech for expeditions starting location’s or Fez  for the Fez Photography Workshop are not included. 

A deposit of $500 USD  is required to secure a place on Expeditions and workshops. This down payment is fully refundable if notice is given 60 days prior to the departure date. The balance of the cost is due 42  days ( six weeks) prior to departure date.

Important Notice
This photography expeditions and workshops aim to provide a unique photography and travel experience  not recommended for “first timers”, nor is it for starting photographers. We aim to provide quality workshops for the advanced amateur, starting photojournalist/travel photographer, and professionals increasing their skills. Spouses/partners who are not photographers should not be joining the expeditions or the Fez Photography workshop.

Our logistics and accommodation agents are based in Marrakech and Fez . They arrange “experienced based” tourism from adventure tours, custom treks and tours, accommodation, cultural immersion activities, personalised tours and itineraries for the discerning traveler,  all over Morocco. They are based and live in Morocco and have extensive experience at running excellent programs in Morocco.

A Note On Our Hotel Accommodations:

We shall be staying in high quality and character based riads, kasbahs, or  boutique hotels with a base benchmark equivalent of 3 stars during photo expeditions. All rooms have attached private baths. When camping at cultural events where there is no suitable accommodation nearby we will be camping in luxury style Berber tents.

Morocco Photography Expeditions assumes no responsibility for accidents or injury to individuals participating in the Moroccan Photography Expeditions and Workshops. Participants will be requested to read, accept and sign an agreement which releases Morocco Photography Expeditions from any responsibility of liability in the event of any of the situations mentioned below.

Morocco Photography Expeditions will  not assume responsibility if a photographer/expedition participant is refused entry into a country for any reason. It is the photographer/expedition participant’s sole responsibility to ensure all travel documents are valid and effective. A passport, valid for six months after the intended date of return is required in many cases for travel overseas. Citizen’s of  countries may require visas to enter Morocco. Please check the following links with the corresponding Moroccan consulates and Embassies before to leaving to travel to Morocco. This is the participants responsibility.
